Kellie Gergoudis is a third year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. As a Psychology major at Columbia University, Kellie has always understood the importance of writing as a form of catharsis and human connection and believes that it is immensely important for physicians and patients alike to share their experiences. She is particularly interested in ophthalmology and eye-sight because of the intricacy and delicacy of the eye as an organ and the immense effect on human life this organ possesses.
